Stryker, Tams & Dill LLP was founded on May 2, 1898 .    Founding member Richard  V. Lindabury incorporated United States Steel Corporation,  was its first general counsel and served on its finance committee.  Lindabury represented many other major corporations, including American Tobacco  Company and Standard Oil.

The Firm’s primary goal is to serve the needs of its clients to the fullest extent possible and as economically as possible.  In accomplishing this goal, the Firm employs a team approach, which brings to bear the expertise of its full complement of attorneys, paralegals, law clerks, and support staff.  While each client has a partner liaison, specializing in the practice area most closely associated with the client’s needs and objectives, additional specialists in the Firm provide assistance and directly oversee other specific client matters, as may be appropriate.  Primary responsibility for the client’s satisfaction, however, remains with the partner liaison.
